Five Finger Death Punch was founded by former U.P.O. bassist, Zoltan Bathory, and ex W.A.S.P. drummer, Jeremy Spencer, in Las Vegas in 2005. The band is named after one of the ultimate death blows in the popular movie Kill Bill 2. The lead singer is Ivan Moody who is from Las Vegas and joined in 2005.

The first album to be created was Way of the Fist in 2007. It gained platinum Status along with the following album.

Five Finger Death Punch has recorded eight studio albums, one live album, two compilation albums, one extended play EP, and thirty-two singles.
